We are hiring our founding engineer, the third core team member who will own technical execution and build with us for the next decade.

This is a true cofounder-level role with significant equity.

Required Experience & Skills

You must be based in Canada or the US, or willing to relocate to San Francisco.

You have 4+ years of professional software engineering experience and a proven track record of shipping high-quality consumer or developer-facing products that real people use daily.

You are an expert in Swift and SwiftUI, with multiple shipped production macOS apps under your belt.

You thrive on full-stack ownership and have repeatedly delivered end-to-end features across:

Frontend: SwiftUI (primary expertise required), React Native, and/or Electron
Backend: Go, Node.js, or Python services
Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (preferred), Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals, and modern CI/CD pipelines

You have shipped products that integrate AI/ML, with practical experience in:

Local/on-device ML frameworks (MLX, CoreML, ONNX Runtime, llama.cpp)
Cloud AI services (Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, Grok API, or similar)
Quantization techniques, inference optimization, efficient model loading, and prompt engineering at scale.
